    Respiratory Therapist

    As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with residents of our Skilled Nursing facility. This will include providing excellent respiratory care, trach care, and ventilator management. This person will work closely with other clinical staff including nursing, occupational, physical, and speech therapists.

    Job Description

    • Provide respiratory therapy to long-term and short-term residents.
    • Administer medications as per physician orders.
    • Conduct weekly rounds with pulmonary physicians.
    • Support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, and inventory.
    • Administer therapeutic gases as ordered by the physician.
    • Set up and manage various types of respiratory care equipment.
    • Assist in training new and existing staff.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Active NBRC credentials.
    • Active Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner state licensure.
    • Active BLS certification.
