Job Description

• Level IV Trauma Center
• Average Daily Encounters: 24 for hospitalist team
• Open ICU with 5 beds
• Rapid Response and Code Teams
• Opportunity to provide care to both hospitalized and Skilled Nursing Facility Patients
• Coverage: Day shift (7a-7p) - 1 physician and 1 NP/PA; Night shift (7p-7a) - 1 NP/PA with tele backup
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Procedures interest required: Central lines, intubation, and arterial lines. Training available.
• J1 visa sponsorship

Physician Qualifications

• Vent management required. Training available.

NP/PA Requirements & Qualifications

• Certification: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• 1+ years of hospitalist and/or ICU experience
• Day shift: Procedures not required
• Night shift: Run codes and rapid responses with physician backup. Procedures required (Training available): central lines, intubations, and arterial lines. Vent management required (Training available).
