Senior Echocardiographer

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer to join the Non-invasive Lab Team!

Job Description

• Unit has 5 rooms for Echos.
• Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound.
• Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree - Cardiovascular Technology or High School Diploma.
• Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes.
• Basic Life Support required.
• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
• At least 3 years of echocardiographer experience.
