    Job Description

    • Perform high-quality CT scans: Operate CT equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body, ensuring high-quality results for diagnostic purposes.
    • Collaborate with the medical team: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging and ensure timely diagnoses.
    • Ensure patient safety & comfort: Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Monitor patients during imaging to ensure their well-being.
    • Maintain a supportive environment: Foster a warm and compassionate atmosphere, putting patients at ease and helping reduce anxiety during imaging procedures.
    • Handle imaging equipment & maintenance: Ensure CT machines are operating at peak performance, conducting routine checks, and reporting any issues to the appropriate team.
    • Follow safety protocols: Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital guidelines to minimize exposure for both patients and staff.
    • Provide clear communication: Explain procedures to patients and their families, answering any questions and providing post-procedure instructions as necessary.
    • Able to take call.

    Requirements

    • Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
    • Clinical radiology experience is preferred, but not required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
    • Current, valid driver's license.
    • Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License in Texas.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T (R).
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
    • Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first approach.
