    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or G.E.D Certificate (Required)
    • Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic Program (Required)
    • In an Advanced Life Support (ALS) position or Critical Care setting (3 years required)
    • Flight / Air medical transport (1 year preferred)
    • Current EMT-P license from the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) (Required)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
    • MedTrans Corporation New Hire Academy (Required)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (Required)
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (Required)
    • Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC) (Required)
    • Pediatric Transport Course (PCCTC) (Required)
    • Flight Paramedic-Certification (FP-C) (Required; must obtain within thirty (30) days of start date)

    Must maintain all certifications and additional state licenses may be required based on fixed-wing services.
