Job Description

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment.
• Maintain comfort and safety of patients.
• Report test completion to the Radiologist.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Graduate of an ARRT Approved Program in Radiologic Technology (Required)
• Clinical Radiology experience (1 year preferred)

Certification & Licensures

• Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas (Required)
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T. (R) (Required)
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required, within 90 days of start date)
• Current, Valid Texas Driver's License (Required)

Alternative Pathways

• MRI Tech (Pathway 2): The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) (Required), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required, within 90 days of start date), Current, Valid Texas Driver's License (Required).

• MRI Tech (Pathway 3): American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) (Required), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required, within 90 days of start date), Current, Valid Texas Driver's License (Required).
