Radiation Oncologist

Singing River Health System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our established and growing oncology program along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Job Description

• Evaluate oncology patients and develop personalized radiation treatment plans
• Administer and oversee radiation therapy treatments
• Collaborate with medical oncology, surgical oncology, and subspecialty teams
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case discussions
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, quality assurance, and regulatory guidelines
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and expected outcomes
• Utilize advanced radiation therapy techniques including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
• Deliver treatments using Varian TrueBeam technology
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Mississippi
• Strong clinical expertise in radiation therapy planning and delivery
• Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
