Job Description

• Join our close-knit team of nine physicians and two advanced practice providers at WTH - Dyersburg Hospital, with support from a clinical performance nurse.
• Our cohesive team has built strong, enduring relationships, offering a stable and collaborative work environment.
• If you have a genuine passion for emergency medicine and managing complex cases beyond the routine, we'd love to meet you.
• Manage a 16-bed emergency department, seeing approximately 75 patients per day.
• Care for patients in critical conditions, from motor vehicle collisions to violent crimes, with a focus on chest tube placements, intubations, and trauma care.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and trauma care.
