A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Job Description

• Nocturnist covers the ICU overnight and supervises the residents' admissions to the floor. Intensivists are available telephonically overnight. Central line and airway skills are desired, although backup is available.
• Join our close-knit team of 5 physicians.
• Work alongside a dedicated team that is actively involved in work groups such as practice guidelines, the code blue committee, and the ICU celebration of life committee.
• Phenomenal team culture, manageable workload.
• In-house Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs.
• EMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictation.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
• Must be comfortable managing ICU patients and be open to performing arterial and central lines.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Scheduling

• Flexible scheduling with 10-hour night shifts Monday to Friday and 11.5-hour night shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Benefits

• Annual compensation: $351,130.
• CME allowance.
• Paid malpractice, including tail coverage.
