    Job Description

    • Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical/surgical/cardiac/neuro ICU patients.
    • Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists; demonstrate ability to work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team.
    • Commit to excellence in the clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patients.
    • Must provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations, and chest tubes.
    • EPIC EMR.

    Requirements

    • Board-certified acute care trained Nurse Practitioner with unrestricted license.
    • Prior ICU APP practice time - minimum of 3 years post-training practice - no new graduates.
    • Licensed to practice in Texas.
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.

    Scheduling

    • PRN - No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on program need and your availability.
