Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams
• Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with supervising physicians
• Prescribe medications and therapies per hospital and state regulations
• Provide pre- and post-operative care, including discharge planning and patient education
• Interpret and communicate diagnostic test results
• Participate in inpatient rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
• Educate patients and families on conditions and treatment plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and hospitalists

Requirements

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Florida
• EMR proficiency and strong written/verbal communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable work habits
• HIPAA compliance and understanding of patient privacy standards
• Commitment to ethical and professional standards of care

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and assist patients in movement
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
• Normal hearing and vision required
• Manual dexterity for daily clinical tasks
