Job Description

• Schedule: Days only - no nights required
• Setting: Inpatient, with collaboration across surgery and gastroenterology
• Work closely with surgeons, gastroenterologists, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• This role will primarily support General Surgery while also assisting with Gastroenterology services, providing comprehensive care to our patients
• 292-bed facility, with 197 beds designated for medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, and intensive care

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Illinois
• National certification in good standing
• Prior experience in surgery, gastroenterology, or inpatient care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
