Pediatric Neurologist

We are excited to announce a Pediatric Neurology opening in Duluth, MN. This is a full-time, permanent position with an employed opportunity. We are seeking two Pediatric Neurologists to join our Pediatric Neurology team, which includes two Nurse Practitioners, a Child Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner, and two Child Neuropsychologists.

Job Description

• Provide general Pediatric Neurology services with a passion for service and collaboration.
• Participate in an on-call rotation that is predominantly by phone; call rotation is negotiable.
• Work at a 336-bed regional tertiary hospital that includes a Neuroscience Unit, which houses both the Neuro Trauma unit and Neuro step-down unit.
• Engage with inpatient rehabilitation units at a 150-bed hospital.
• Contribute to a Children's Hospital that boasts many region-only services, including a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, an 18-bed Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, CARF accredited Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, and the Eric Peter Persons Children's Cancer Center.
• Utilize Polinsky, a brand new state-of-the-art facility that offers the only full-service Pediatric outpatient therapy program north of the Twin Cities, including Pediatric-specific Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Psychology.
• Collaborate with various Pediatric subspecialties offered, including Hospital Medicine, PICU, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, PM&R, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Emergency Room, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedics.
• Access neurology services and support that includes EEG, Video EEG, Ambulatory EEG, Vagus Nerve Stimulator program, EMG, MRI with compatible movie goggles, Child Life Specialist support, and more.
