Radiologist

Join our team as a Radiologist at the Ethel Lund Medical Center in Juneau, AK. This position offers both full-time and part-time options, along with a $25K sign-on bonus.

Job Description

• Interpret diagnostic images from multiple locations, including radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, Dexa, ultrasound, MRI, and CT
• Provide timely, accurate reports using voice recognition systems
• Collaborate with referring providers to enhance patient care and outcomes
• Participate in quality assurance, service planning, and radiology department improvements
• Conduct fluoroscopic exams and common interventional procedures
• Interpret and oversee mammography services, including mobile screenings in remote villages
• Interpret ultrasound exams, including OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Supervise and interpret CT and MRI studies, including contrast dosage approvals
• Provide education and consultation for medical staff, support staff, and imaging services
• Engage in medical staff meetings and corporate service planning initiatives

Requirements

• Education: M.D. or D.O. with AMA-approved Radiology Residency
• Certification: Board Certified in Radiology
• Experience: Minimum of four years of clinical experience post-residency
• Licensure: Active Alaska medical license
• Certifications: Current BLS certification
• Skills: Proficiency in digital imaging, interpretation of multiple imaging modalities, and strong communication skills
