Urology NP/PA

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Urology team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This opportunity provides a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and OR responsibilities with no call requirements, while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; no evenings or weekends
• Join a well-established team of 2 physicians and 1 APP
• Inpatient responsibilities: rounding, consults, discharges, and occasional OR time
• Outpatient duties: follow-up visits, pre- and post-op evaluations, catheter care, reviewing labs/biopsies/imaging, bladder scans, and more
• Perform procedures including Foley insertions, uroflow/urodynamics, cystoscopies, and vasectomies
• Maintain an independent patient panel of 12-15 patients/day
• Fully integrated Epic EHR
• Non-profit, PSLF eligible

Requirements

• Licensed NP/PA in Virginia (or eligibility)
• Urology or surgical subspecialty experience preferred
• Strong procedural skills and ability to manage an independent patient panel
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
