    Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Provider (PCP)

    Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Provider (PCP), responsible for providing direct clinical customer-owner care in the assigned area, managing care for a panel of customer-owners, and working with other clinical staff to establish medical protocols and treatment regimens. The rotational schedule includes 4 weeks working with 4 weeks off or 6 weeks working with 4 weeks off.

    Job Description

    • Provide direct clinical customer-owner care in assigned area
    • Manage care for a panel of customer-owners
    • Work with other clinical staff to establish medical protocols and treatment regimens
    • Travel to the village community on a set recurring rotation schedule

    Requirements

    • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Alaska
    • Current certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
    • Meet all requirements to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required
    • Thorough understanding of the cultures and needs of Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area

    Employee Health Requirements

    • Compliance with Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment
    • Required immunizations prior to the first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis), and COVID-19
