Primary Care Physician

Unique opportunity to work in a very busy primary care office that takes walk-in patients in Oxford, Alabama. Work 3 days a week 12-hour shifts. Considering emergency medicine and urgent care providers.

Job Description

• $220-$250K base with uncapped monthly bonus based on charges
• $30K retention bonus

PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with their patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice.

• No obstetrics
• Clinic hours are Monday to Saturday
• After hours call service
• Laboratory services on-site
• State-of-the-art technology with integrated EMR eCW and electronic prescribing
• No admitting; no nights

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
• Board certification or board eligible by ABMS (ABFM/ABIM) or Emergency Medicine
• Current, valid, and unrestricted Alabama Medical License required
• Valid DEA required
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency
• Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment
