Interventional Pain Physician
SIH's Brain and Spine Institute is a busy practice seeking to hire a dedicated Interventional Pain Physician. You will work in a collegial atmosphere with physicians who are passionate about patient care. This opportunity is interventional, with the work week divided between procedural and clinic days. This position will allow you to enjoy a better work and life balance. This service line has 2 Nurse practitioners.
Job Description
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency training program in anesthesiology, psychiatry, and neurology or physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship training program in Pain Medicine of at least twelve months duration.
- In lieu of formal Pain Management training, physicians completing these residencies should have spent at least the last two years practicing pain management.
- Current certification in Pain Medicine by the applicable ABMS board. Board certification must be achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam.
- Applicant must provide documentation of provision of pain medicine services (50 cases) representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous year (waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year).
