    Assistant or Associate Professor in Interventional Cardiology

    Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant or Associate Professor in Interventional Cardiology to join our growing academic cardiology team in Springfield, IL.

    Job Description

    • Turnkey academic practice: Step into an established, high-volume cardiology program with a strong referral base.
    • Excellent procedural volume: High demand for various cardiac procedures including TEEs, advanced imaging, cardioversions, cardiac catheterizations, Chronic Total Occlusions (CTO), and CHIP procedures.

    Requirements

    • MD/DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.

    • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois.

    • Experience working in an academic environment, both inpatient and outpatient settings.
