Chief Medical Officer

Join So Cal Community Health System as a Chief Medical Officer, overseeing 20 clinics located throughout Southern California. In this role, you will provide oversight and medical expertise in implementing the Medical Management Program, promoting organizational goals and objectives while ensuring quality health care services are delivered. The position involves 40% to 50% clinical care and 50% to 60% administrative and supervisory responsibilities.

Job Description

• Implement new clinic operating processes and systems aimed at improving efficiency
• Recruit, hire, train, counsel, and evaluate both technical and professional staff involved in the delivery of clinical services who perform Quality Management (QM) and Utilization
• Minimum of 3.5 years experience in a clinical and leadership position in a community-based clinic environment with multiple sites

Requirements

• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
• Knowledge of and experience with EHR and/or related automated systems is a plus
