We offer a full range of services with state-of-the-art technology, including pain management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, behavioral health services, wound care, and laboratory.     Job Description

    • The Women's Services unit at Spring View Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. This is a 6-bed unit that ensures patients receive optimal medical attention and support.
    • You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
    • The RN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
    • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
    • Documents patient care given.
    • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
    • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
    • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
    • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
    • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

    Requirements

    • Associate's degree in nursing required
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire
    • Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE required within 6 months of hire
    • ACLS is required within 12 months of hire
    • Current RN license in the state of Kentucky
