Gastroenterologist

St. Charles Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our multi-specialty team in Bend, Oregon. This role offers a diverse mix of clinic visits, hospital rounding, and procedures in a supportive, patient-focused environment. You'll collaborate with a team of medical professionals across our four hospitals in Bend, Redmond, Madras, and Prineville, serving a broad patient population with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.

Job Description

• Clinical Care: Provide diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, proctoscopies, and advanced endoscopic interventions (ERCP, EUS).
• Patient Interaction: Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, and educate patients and families on GI health and disease prevention.
• Call Schedule: Participate in a GI call rotation of no more than 1:4, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), comply with health system policies, and participate in physician meetings.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
