Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Services team. The RN provides high-quality patient care, supports clinical operations, and ensures exceptional service across the outpatient continuum.
Job Description
- Deliver safe, effective direct patient care in an outpatient/ambulatory setting.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document care according to nursing standards.
- Communicate promptly with physicians, the Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor, and healthcare team regarding patient condition, diagnostic results, and treatment plans.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and support emergency interventions.
- Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary staff.
- Support patient flow, scheduling, and department organization to ensure an efficient outpatient experience.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and outpatient best practices.
- Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and required in-service trainings.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
