We are currently seeking a part-time (.2FTE) BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join our busy practice and patient-focused multidisciplinary team in Twin Falls, ID. Blue Lakes Gastroenterology is comprised of 4 physicians, 5 advanced practitioners, and support staff. The position includes a 1:4 call schedule and offers a one-year partnership with top quartile compensation based on national data. The clinic, GI endoscopy unit, and inpatient facilities are all located in a state-of-the-art hospital built in 2011. Services performed in the clinic include screening, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies, diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, push enteroscopy, small bowel capsule endoscopy, esophageal impedance testing and manometry, and feeding tube placement and management. We also provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of liver disease, including cirrhosis, hepatitis, and liver cancer; post-liver transplant management; and ultrasound-guided liver biopsy.

    Job Description

    • Perform a variety of gastrointestinal procedures including screening and therapeutic colonoscopies.
    • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of liver disease.

    Requirements

    • Education: MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
    • BC/BE in Gastroenterology.
    • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
    • Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy.
    • Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke's Health System, eligibility to obtain.
