Job Description

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (14-16/month), with some 24-hour shifts (7-8/month) possible
• Volume: 30-32 visits per day expected to increase after expansion
• Expansion: ER growing from 7 to 16 beds within the next year
• Current staff: 4 full-time FTE, plus PRN
• Call: No scheduled call; call only in the event of emergencies (e.g., natural disasters)
• Salary/Benefits: $180/hour plus full benefits, paid malpractice, relocation allowance
• Facility: Enjoy a small, locally managed hospital (not part of a big system that brings frustrating and impersonal management), good ancillary services (lab, x-ray), full-time general and orthopedic surgery on staff, high-quality staff, and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• BC/BE Emergency Medicine (EM) preferred
• Family Practice or Internal Medicine candidates with ER experience will be considered
