    Neurologist

    Join an established general neurology practice, primarily focusing on headaches, seizures, Parkinson's, and neuromuscular conditions, with subspecialties in stroke and epilepsy. This is a 100% outpatient position with optional inpatient consults. You will see 15-20 patients per day in a hospital-employed opportunity. Flexible work schedule options are available, including 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts; week on/week off; or 28-day blocks. Support a diverse spectrum of interesting and complex cases. EEGs are performed outpatient with the ability to access medical records remotely. The practice has 24-hour in-house hospitalist services and a 1:3 office practice call, with a Neurology APP first.

    A new wellness park opened in early January 2024! This is a non-profit integrated regional health system in Northwest Ohio, affiliated with a top research institute. The hospital was founded over 100 years ago and was recently named one of the 100 Top Hospitals in the nation. The location is outside of the Toledo Metro area, in a suburban community offering a higher quality of life, affordable housing, and a lower cost of living with outdoor recreational activities.

    Job Description

    • Manage a diverse patient population with a focus on headaches, seizures, Parkinson's, and neuromuscular conditions
    • Provide outpatient care with optional inpatient consults
    • Flexible work schedule options including 8hr/10hr/12hr shifts; week on/week off; or 28-day blocks
    • Support interesting and complex cases with EEGs performed outpatient
    • Access medical records remotely
    • Participate in 24-hour in-house hospitalist services
    • Handle 1:3 office practice call with Neurology APP first
