Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician

STG International is currently looking for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to provide support and primary care to military Veteran patients at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Oxnard, CA. As a physician or Medical Director at one of our Community Based Outpatient Clinics, you would create a welcoming experience for our military Veterans that have served our country. Provide medical care based on primary and preventative care to meet the needs of the patient. Enjoy regular hours with no weekends, and no after hours call. Located in Ventura County. We have a similar opening in Lancaster, CA.

Job Description

• Provide medical care based on primary and preventative care to meet the needs of the patient
• Create a welcoming experience for military Veterans
• Oversee all day-to-day delivery of medical care to patients

Requirements

• Possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited school in the US or internationally
• Successfully completed a residency program in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with recognition by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association
• Current and unrestricted DEA
• Retain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Military Training Network (MTN)
• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques in accordance with community and VA standards of practice
• Minimum of one year experience as a licensed physician
