Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Medical Director

STG International is actively looking for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Medical Director or physician to provide support and primary care to military Veteran patients at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Auburn, NY. As a physician or Medical Director at one of our Community Based Outpatient Clinics, you would create a welcoming experience for our military Veterans that have served our country. Provide primary and preventative medical care based on the needs of the patient. Enjoy regular hours (M-F 8-4:30) with no weekends, and no after-hours call. Auburn is located in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region.

Job Description

• Provide primary and preventative medical care based on the needs of the patient
• Oversee all day-to-day delivery of medical care to patients

Requirements

• Possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited school in the US or internationally
• Successfully completed a residency program in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with recognition by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association
• Current and unrestricted DEA
• Retain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Military Training Network (MTN)
• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques in accordance with the community and VA standards of practice
• Minimum of one year experience as a licensed physician
