    Physician General Cardiology (Clinic) Locum

    Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Physician General Cardiology (clinic) Locum to work near Elkhorn, Nebraska. Anticipating the coverage starting on 1/5/2026-7/4/2026 (6-month commitment, possible extension).

    Job Description

    • 2-weeks business days minimum to credential
    • The role offers a competitive market rate and locum benefits
    • Schedule: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. inpatient rounding; 4:30 p.m. - 7 a.m. night call; Mon-Sun
    • Availability: Minimum 2 weeks per month (14 shifts per month)
    • Procedures: None - only consultations
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Scope: Inpatient (primarily; limited outpatient), consults, and call
    • Multiple campuses during the day (multi-site privileges granted)
    • Census: Averaging 10 patients per campus

    Requirements

    • NE/IA state license; active, unrestricted
    • ACLS, BLS, DEA
    • Board Certification in General Cardiology
    • Welcoming Board Eligible (within 2-5 years post-training) with completion of residency/fellowship
    • Malpractice history: Clean is preferred
    • CV must be formatted with MM/YYYY for all work and training
