Physician Medical Director - Geriatric Locum

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Physician Medical Director-Geriatric Locum to work near Longmeadow, Massachusetts (MA). The team is anticipating the coverage starting on 2/2/2026. The role offers a competitive market rate and locum benefits.

Job Description

• Serve age 55 and older in an all-inclusive care for the elderly (PACE) model
• Care for seniors with chronic care needs
• Provide general medical direction and supervision of the medical aspects of participant care under the supervision of the Executive Director
• Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday

Requirements

• MA state license; active, unrestricted
• BLS, DEA
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice; preference for BC in Geriatrics
• Experience in geriatrics preferred; previous supervisory experience (1-year minimum) required
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• CV must be formatted with MM/YYYY for all work and training
