Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Dothan, AL to begin as soon as credentialed, with ongoing coverage. The role offers a competitive market rate and benefits.

Job Description

• Setting: Inpatient with call (beeper with a 30-min response. 2-3 phone consults and 3-5 patients seen per 24-hour shift). 1-2 admissions.
• CVT NP/PA for inpatient coverage, clinical hours, and call.
• PA or NP requested to support an employed CV surgeon with rounding in the hospital on post-operative patients (2-3 hours per day) and being available to assist in regularly scheduled and emergency surgical procedures. Endoscopic vein harvesting is the primary surgical procedural skill needed for the advanced practitioner who fills this position.
• All travel booked and provided.

Requirements

• Active AL license
• BLS
• Cardiovascular experience
