Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced CRNA to work locum shifts in Tampa, Florida. The role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits, starting on July 10th, 2025.

Job Description

• Must be cross-credentialed and able to work between the 4 AHT facilities: Tampa, Carrollwood, Westly Chapel, and New Tampa Surgery Center.
• Preferred schedule is four 10-hour shifts with flexibility on which four days it will be each week.
• No call required; occasional weekend call coverage preferred.
• Cases include everything except burns, transplants, and trauma. No OB or hearts for our CRNAs, but the practices do see both. If they can do OB, they may do a little OB, but it's not a requirement.
• Interested clinicians need to have at least 2 years of experience, specifically recent history of practicing at facilities of similar size (i.e., this is mostly for AH Tampa, which is a big, fast-moving facility with almost 40 ORs, so we need CRNAs with recent experience in this type of setting).
• Average time to credential: 90-120 days.
• Shift length: 8s, 10s, 12s.
• Shift days: Monday - Friday.
• Minimum number of shifts per month: 20.
• No call; no weekends.
• Majority case type: a little of everything.
• 38 ORs.
• EMR: Epic.

Requirements

• FL state license; active, unrestricted.
• Active Board certified - NBCRNA.
• Certifications: BLS and PALS.
• Must have 1 year of CRNA experience.
