Locums need in Clearwater, FL for NP/PA- cardio/thoracic

Cardiovascular/Thoracic NP/PA

Surgical and non-surgical locums are needed for Cardiovascular/Thoracic for NP/PA. Both non-surgical and surgical positions are in an inpatient practice setting for 3 months. The non-surgical role will involve providing patient care with no operating room time, while the surgical role will require first assist and vein harvest. Both must have a Florida license and DEA with dispensary.

Job Description

• Non-Surgical:

  • Patient care, no operating
  • Dates: 12/20/2021 - 3/31/2021
  • 4 ten-hour shifts
  • 10-12 call days per month

• Surgical:

  • Dates: February 1, 2022 - May 1, 2022
  • Clinical hours and call
  • PAs cover for a busy surgical team. Full-time plus call
  • Must have previous cardiovascular surgical experience
  • Requires both ability to first assist and vein harvest

Requirements

• Non-Surgical:

  • Active Florida license, unrestricted
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Must have prior, recent inpatient experience

• Surgical:

  • Previous cardiovascular surgical experience

Compensation
