    Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Currently, we're hiring an SLPA to work in a school in Emeryville, California. As a school-based SLPA with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLPA.

    Job Description

    • $43 - $46.50 per hour
    • Contract length - week contracts
    • SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings
    • SLPA will implement individualized education plans developed and directed by the supervising SLP
    • SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student
    • The SLPA will be expected to collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner

    Requirements

    • Active California SLPA license if required by that state
    • American Heart Association BLS
    • At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
    • School experience is preferred but not required
