Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) seeks to hire a passionate and skilled Medical Oncologist or Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our expanding team in Santa Rosa, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established, collaborative practice offering advanced care in a state-of-the-art facility. SMGR is a thriving, multi-specialty medical group located in the picturesque Sonoma County.

Job Description

• Join a dynamic team of two full-time oncologists/hematologists and three experienced Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) in a busy, patient-centered environment.
• Provide comprehensive cancer care, integrating clinical trials, and offering cutting-edge treatment options to our community.
• Full-time is 35 hours of patient contact time per week.
• Participate in community-based clinical trials.
• Provide ambulatory outpatient/hematology care and patient supervision at the on-site infusion center.
• Work in a newly built state-of-the-art clinic and 18 chair infusion center.
• Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Enjoy flexibility for work and life balance.
• Utilize integrated EMR (EPIC) and incorporate Telehealth.

Requirements

• Board certified in Medical Oncology (or Medical Oncology/Hematology).
• Experience or interest in participating in cancer clinical trials and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, community-based setting.
