    Interventional Radiology Physician

    We have an immediate need for a locum Interventional Radiology Physician to provide interventional procedures for our veteran population at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers a great assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with the nation's veterans while experiencing Western Pennsylvania's rich natural landscapes and family-friendly attractions.

    Job Description

    • Perform radiology procedures, including but not limited to:
      • Drainage procedure/image cath fluid collection
      • Artery x-rays arm/leg (angiogram)/place catheter in vein
      • Repair of tunnel central venous catheter/venogram
      • Echo guide with biopsy/exploration of abdomen
      • Insert tunneled CV cath (PORT placement or removal)/repair of tunnel central venous catheter
      • Fistulogram/insertion/removal
      • Additional procedures: lung biopsy, percutaneous chest tube insertion, angioplasty with stenting, TACE (embolization), IVC filter, cryoablation kidney tumor

    Requirements

    • Must have completed a residency in Interventional Radiology
    • Board certified in accordance with the American Board of Radiology
    • One active, unrestricted medical license in any state
    • Current DEA license
    • American Heart Association (AHA) certification required
    • Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school; written explanations are accepted
    • Three current references

    Hours & Schedule

    • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (excluding federal holidays)
