    Job Description

    • Diagnose and treat infectious diseases including HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, STIs, TB, and hospital-acquired infections.
    • Provide consultations, manage long-term treatment plans, and coordinate care for acute and chronic conditions.
    • Support prevention protocols, implement CDC guidelines, and advise on risk reduction strategies.
    • Promote evidence-based prescribing and help reduce resistance through internal initiatives.
    • Coordinate with PCPs, specialists, and care teams to ensure continuity and timely interventions.
    • Document care in eClinicalWorks and support quality improvement and reporting efforts.

    Requirements

    • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution required.
    • Must hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New York and possess an active DEA license.
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.
    • 1-2 years of post-residency experience in infectious disease, with proven ability to manage patients of all ages independently in a clinical setting.
    • Proficient in eClinicalWorks or similar EHR systems.
    • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills with excellent communication, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Compensation

    • $210,000 - $222,000/year (dependent on experience)

    Schedule

    • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
