Job Description
- Serve as a resource person and problem solver for the nursing staff
- Interpret policies and procedures for nursing and administration
- Provide information and support for family members and patients
- Resolve complaints
- Handle calls and paperwork for patient transfers
- Follow all policies, procedures, and requirements of TMH
- Actively support a commitment to the mission and vision of TMH, consistently displaying behaviors in harmony with the I CARE values.
Requirements
- Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Required Experience: Two (2) years of RN experience
- Preferred Experience: Five (5) years as RN; Two (2) years as supervisor
- Required Certification/License/Registry: Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) includes multistate compact licensure
