Occupational Therapist (OT)

A community services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their growing team at one of their group homes on Staten Island.

Job Description

• Plan and implement prescribed occupational therapy treatment programs for persons receiving services
• Assist patients with maintaining and/or restoring function secondary to acute or chronic disability
• Conduct annual screens, assessments, & daily documentation
• Perform other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy school
• NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license

Desired Skills

• Experience with wheelchair assessment
• Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
