Occupational Therapist (OT)

A comprehensive multi-services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of their growing facilities in Staten Island.

Job Description

• Plan and implement prescribed OT treatment programs for persons receiving services to maintain and/or restore function secondary to acute or chronic disability
• Conduct annual screens
• Make assessments
• Perform daily documentation
• Handle other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy school
• NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Knowledge in the use of mobility devices and therapeutic exercises
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills

• Experience with wheelchair assessment
• Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
