Physical Therapist (PT)

A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team in Queens on a part-time basis.

About the Opportunity

• Schedule: 3 days a week
• Hours: 8 am to 2:30 pm
• Setting: Preschool
• Age Range: 3 to 5 years old

Paid note-taking will be completed onsite at the end of the day.

Job Description

• Providing screening, evaluation, and therapy services, as assigned
• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to determine diagnosis and developing appropriate treatment plans for children
• Providing consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate programmatic staff and programs
• Providing information to families regarding their child's motor development and stimulation
• Maintaining and making all records and reports available as required
• Performing other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school (New graduates will be considered!)
• NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license

Desired Skills

• Experience working with the pediatric population
• Previous experience in a school setting
