Physician (Family/Internal Medicine)

A services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background, for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Manhattan.

Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days clinical; 1 day telehealth/admin)
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Clinic
• Patient Population: Adults

The Family/Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:

• Performing history and physical assessments, as indicated
• Providing services in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice
• Developing a plan of treatment/care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visits
• Making referrals, as indicated by the needs of the patient
• Communicating with other healthcare providers related to diagnosis, treatment, and plan for the patient either verbally and/or through documentation in the medical record
• Maintaining current and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient
• Performing other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Vermont
• Board Certified / Eligible in Family and/or Internal Medicine
• Experience working with the adult population
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
