Cardiologist

A healthcare network in Massachusetts is currently seeking a licensed Cardiologist to join their growing team.

Job Description

• Prescribe and manage medications to control symptoms and improve cardiac function in patients
• Perform or assist in interventional procedures, such as cardiac catheterization, to address certain cardiac abnormalities without the need for surgery
• Work closely with Cardiac Surgeons to plan and coordinate surgical interventions, when necessary
• Educate patients and their families about the nature of the heart condition, treatment options, and the importance of follow-up care
• Monitor patients during follow-up visits to assess their progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and address any emerging issues
• Engage in research activities to advance the field of pediatric cardiology
• Provide education and training to medical students, residents, and fellows
• Provide emergency care and consultation for pediatric patients with acute cardiac issues
• Perform other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts
• Board Certified in Cardiology
