A healthcare system in New Jersey is actively seeking a licensed Breast Imaging Attending to join their growing medical team in Monmouth County.

Job Description

• Supervising and interpreting various breast imaging studies, including mammograms, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other specialized breast imaging techniques
• Meeting with patients to discuss their imaging results, explain any findings, and answer questions
• Performing or supervising minimally invasive procedures, such as breast biopsies, to obtain tissue samples for further analysis
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of breast imaging procedures
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of breast imaging services within their department or institution
• Collaborating with Breast Surgeons, Oncologists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with breast conditions or breast cancer
• Performing other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
• Board Eligible / Certified
