Endocrinologist

A healthcare center located in Brooklyn is actively seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Endocrinologist to join their growing staff. In this role, the Endocrinologist will provide healthcare to patients, including diagnosis of endocrine conditions such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, and metabolic disorders.

Job Description

• Obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations, and makes diagnoses and orders appropriate evaluations
• Evaluates procedure results
• Provides preventative and acute care
• Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patients' plan of care
• Provides patient education about underlying medical conditions, self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, and tailors instructions to patients' individual circumstances

Requirements

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Board eligible/certified
• Ambulatory health experience
