Child Psychiatrist

A health services organization in New Jersey is looking to add a licensed Child Psychiatrist to join their growing team in Southern New Jersey.

Job Description

• Evaluate the mental, emotional, and behavioral health of children
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose and identify mental health disorders
• Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient based on their diagnosis, including therapeutic interventions and medications if necessary
• Prescribe and monitor the use of psychotropic medications when indicated, such as antidepressants, mood stabilizers, or antipsychotic medications
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication prescriptions
• Perform other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey
• Board Eligible Certified in Child Psychiatry
• Working knowledge of Epic EMRs
• Solid assessment and documentation skills
