A healthcare organization in Massachusetts is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their urgent care facility. This role requires providing patient-centered care and handling various medical conditions.

Job Description

• Provide quality care in an urgent care setting
• Perform procedures such as suturing and wound care
• Manage 20-30 patients per shift
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and medical assistants
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation
• Provide emergency care as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency settings
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Massachusetts
• Current DEA and CSR certifications
• Proficiency in clinical procedures like suturing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Desired Skills

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience with EMR systems
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Candidates must be ready to start in September or early October and possess the ability to undergo credentialing within 60 days.
