Per Diem, Part Time Physician

The Per Diem, Part Time Physician provides primary care to all patient populations in a Joint Commission certified clinic integrated with behavioral health services and operating as a patient-centered medical home. The services include but are not limited to providing physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications as needed by the patient population; ordering lab and diagnostic work; coordinating with the Primary Care Director and the Pharmacists in the ordering, storage, and administration of medical supplies and medications; providing oversight to the Physician Assistant/Registered Nurse Practitioners and consulting with medical specialists.

Job Description

• Provide primary care to all patient populations in a Joint Commission certified clinic
• Conduct physical examinations and diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications as needed
• Order lab and diagnostic work
• Coordinate with the Primary Care Director and Pharmacists regarding medical supplies and medications
• Provide oversight to Physician Assistants/Registered Nurse Practitioners
• Consult with medical specialists

Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine
