Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso is recruiting an Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing Division of Cardiology. This represents a unique opportunity to join one of the premier academic institutions in Texas, and a rapidly growing hub for the medical sciences in the West Texas region.

Job Description

• Responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient clinical cardiology, growing the interventional/procedural volume at TTUHSC, in addition to teaching fellows, residents, and medical students in the clinic and hospital setting.
• The prospective candidate will help grow both the coronary and peripheral interventional programs and participate on the ground floor of a structural interventional program that has already been slated for rapid development by TTUHSC and its affiliate, University Medical Center.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree plus Board certification in Internal Medicine and Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Ability to obtain unrestricted Texas State Medical License and DEA.
