    Pediatric Ophthalmologist

    Join our team as a Pediatric Ophthalmologist in a thriving practice. This position offers a full schedule and a supportive environment with great patient volume.

    Job Description

    • Full schedule within the first 6 months; the practice is booked out 3 to 4 months in advance
    • Schedule: 4 days a week (36 patient hours)
    • Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
    • Surgery: 1 day a week
    • Patient volume: 25-30 patients per clinic day
    • Average number of cases: 8-12
    • Great support staff including 2 scribes, 3 techs, and a research coordinator
    • Total of 12 ophthalmologists within the group
    • EMR: Med Flow in the clinic and Cerner at the hospital
    • Equipment includes OCT-Sirrus 5000, Fundus Camera, and various other diagnostic tools
    • Call schedule: 1:12 (1 time every 12 weeks)

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary: Up to $340K+ with production incentives
    • After practice expenses, keep a percentage of collections (overhead currently 57%)
    • Sign-on bonus: $15K
    • Relocation assistance available
    • PTO: 14 paid holidays plus 30 additional days off including sick time (accrues yearly)
    • CME allowance: $5K plus days off
    • Paid licenses, DEA, state surcharge, professional organization memberships, and societies
    • Educational repayment available for non-profit employers under PSLF

    Requirements

    • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Ophthalmology
    • Must become board certified in the specialty within 5 years of completing residency/fellowship
